This Mimic Tear Ashes is a Legendary Summon found in Elden Ring that conjures the Spirit of a Mimic Tear, a creature which takes the form of Elden Ring Runes the summoner. Many Tarnished collectively believe that their Mimic Tear to be the most powerful and overpowered Spirit Ash of the Lands Between. The Summon effectively becomes a copy of the protagonist's appearance, restricted by the Elden Ring. Simply put, all gear and Stats the player has on hand are infused into the Mimic Tear at the time of summoning.
The power that comes from the Mimic Tear Spirit is fully realized in the final stages of the game where the Tarnished have discovered all they need to know about the best equipment for their builds and have optimized their Stat allocation. Similar to the Legendary Spirit Ash is only available when players have gained access to a certain location that is late in game: Nokron, also known as the Eternal City. The underground metropolis is on the same map with Siofra River. However the entry points and layout are different.
To get into Nokron, Eternal City, and to retrieve Mimic Tear Ashes from the city, and retrieve Mimic Tear Ashes, Elden Ring adventurers must first take on General Starscourge Radahn the one of the toughest bosses in the game.
